Welcome to the Maynard class page! Maynard class are taught by Miss Stevens for most of the week. On Thursday mornings, Mrs Abbott teaches them. Mrs Argue also help Maynard class with their learning. Keep scrolling down to find some information and pictures about our learning.

Every day, we have an English lesson, a Maths lesson, Reading Masters (Reading skills), Number Masters (Number Fluency Practice) and our wider curriculum consisting of Science, Geography, History, RE, PSHE, Art, D and T, PE and French.
PE Days
Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Please make sure that children have their kit ready for these days.
Home Learning Expectations
In Year 5 and 6, the expectation is that children complete:
30 minutes of reading a day/night.
Practice their Times Tables Travels sheets
Use TTRS for at least 30 minutes a week.
Use Spelling Shed for at least 30 minutes a week.
Choose two or three of the tasks from our Homework sheet to complete and bring into school.
Children are rewarded for completing Home Learning by being given Dojos.
We are now using Google Classroom for our remote learning, this includes daily live lessons. Please see the link below for details of how to access this.
